Rule of thumb: Remove prepositional phrases and it's still a complete sentence:
A.
The dew sparkle.
B.
The workers are sitting.
C.
Three slices is.
D.
The crackers is not fresh anymore.
Seems quite a bit simpler to choose in that form.
