OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the highest points?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The highest point looks to be at (2,4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And also do you mean minimum in one of the questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's right but that's the global maximum as well as a local maximum There's one more local maximum

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would the other be at (-3,3) And no, the two questions I have are the ones I'm working on,my mistake on putting minimum.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah and those are the only thing's I can see here a and b seem to be asking the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how would I go about answering the questions? @Brill

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm Not really sure but I suppose both of them have the same answer

OpenStudy (freckles):

local max values are the y-coordinates for which you have a local max point where the local max occurs is the x-coordinate of the local max point

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer for question one would be 4 and 3, and the answer for question two would be 2 and -3? or did I switch those up? @freckles

OpenStudy (freckles):

yep the local max values are 3 or 4 and where they occur are -3 or 2

OpenStudy (freckles):

just like you would say the local min is 1 and the local min occurs at x=-1
