How are 2^x and (3/4)(2^x) different?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

The second is 3/4 the first.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I only need one example. And please NO Google.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the second equation is 3/4 greater than the first one? @tkhunny

OpenStudy (welshfella):

no second equation = (3/4)*2^x

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

"3/4 greater"? I guess, but that sounds funny. Just saying that it is 3/4 the other is sufficient.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I right it then?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Just like I said. The second is 3/4 the first. You can use percent if you like. The second is 75% of the first.
