OpenStudy (sbuck98):

First person to solve gets medal, fan, and help in another subject

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use c^2 = a^2 + b^2. You just to put the value and find the answer. Its already mentioned about the pythogors theorem.

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

\[a^2+b^2=c^2\] was pythagorean theorem

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

so \[5^2+b^2=10^2\]

OpenStudy (anitas.):

http://prntscr.com/a24roj square 75 on ur calculater.

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

\[5^2=25\]\[10^2=100\] so \[25+b^2=100\]

OpenStudy (anitas.):

and what do you get?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

then subtract 25 on both sides and you get \[b^2=75\] then you have to \(\huge\cal\color{black}{square~root}\) the 75 to get b :)

OpenStudy (anitas.):

@sbuck98 what do you get when you square 75 on ur calculater?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

which is 8.6602540378443864676372317075294

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

:)

OpenStudy (anitas.):

yes so ur answer is 8.7 which is A! :D

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

lol she never replied

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):
