OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

A shape with reflectional symmetry has exactly one line of reflection. True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think it is?

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Sup RED!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ayyye hey Smartiez

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

But anyway, what do you think is the answer, (red can help with this one ;))

OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

I think it's true considering there's the center mirror line but I'm not entirely sure.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, it's not true

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd suggest you draw shapes that have reflection lines, e. g., squares, rectangles, triangles. Can you find any evidence that the given statement is true or false? Share your reasoning, please. Giving out answers without rationale is meaningless.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's false, sometimes there's only one line of reflectional symmetry, but in other cases like this there can be a lot more, especially with a circle |dw:1455289813495:dw|

OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

Thanks so much!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This isn't the best example, as everything isn't centered but I'm pretty sure you get the idea

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

You handled that well Red!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ty

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Medal for thy fellow, You understand now bri?

OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

Yeah I do! Thanks again :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem
