Goku: What kind of help do you need to answer this question? What do you remember from previous questions posted by you today that might help you solve this new question?

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

I need to know whether or not a graph of the balance in a bank account will always be a function.

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

@mathmale

OpenStudy (mathmale):

With a bank account, "time marches on." So, no particular time can occur more than once. Also, at any one time, your bank account can have only one balance. Apply this background info to choosing the correct answer.

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

@mathmale So I'll assume that means he's correct about that statement

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

@RhondaSommer Can you help me with C?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Goku: Be more specific: What is YOUR reasoning regarding the bank account balance? Does this represent a function, or does it not?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

lol okay; so realistically you can't go back in time right? so if (x) is time how can you have more than one amount of money at one specific time? it HAS to be a function. regardless if you are losing money; gaining money, or both; or not at all. they will all be a function. make sense?.

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

@RhondaSommer You didn't help me with (c) .-.

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

lol yes i did. they ALL are functions. READ what i said!

OpenStudy (gokuporter):

@RhondaSommer So you're any function can represent the amount of money in a bank account?

RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

basically. as long as it is a function; it can represent a bank account

Once again, Goku, we need YOUR input, your responses, your ideas.
