NO light reflects from the Moon and reaches Earth, and this is also known as a "solar eclipse" if things work out right. 2.Well, during a new moon 0.0% of the light hitting the Moon is visible to us. So I'd say a new moon. There's still the same amount of light hitting the Moon at that time, but 0.0% of it is visible to us. A new moon is basically the opposite of a full moon. The Sun is on the other side of the Moon from us so we're only seeing its night side. And since that's dark we don't see it at all.
