how does replication of the lagging strand of DNA compare with replication of the leading strand?

OpenStudy (frostbite):

In basic: The replication of the leading stand is continuous and goes in the 5'->3' direction by the DNA polymerase III. The replication of the lagging stand is sorta done in parts. As the DNA polymerase III can only work in the 5'->3' direction, there is insersation of multiple primers to make a little replication in the 5'->3' dirrection until it hits a new primer. The primers are then removed in a group effort by DNA polymerase I and the DNA ligase.
