OpenStudy (kayders1997):
you have the equation for you already which is nice
OpenStudy (kayders1997):
which is the slope in this equation?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So how would I answer it? I'm confused on what the question is asking.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I don't know that's all the teacher gave me to work with.
OpenStudy (kayders1997):
okay so you have the equation y=mx+b where m is your slope and b is the y intercept so what is your slope

Is it 3?
OpenStudy (kayders1997):
yes :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thank you(: So to answer the question all I would write is 3?
OpenStudy (kayders1997):
Now that you found your slope you need to know how it relates to the parallel slope, the parallel slope will stay the same if you have a perpendicular slope you change the sign from positive to negative and than flip the fraction by yes 3 is the answer for the slope and since we don't have a point we can't do any more
OpenStudy (kayders1997):
:)
