Which function could produce the graph shown below? Here's a picture of the graph http://media.apexlearning.com/Images/200706/07/88aefa1f-e452-40ed-bc02-d75eed124de7.jpg A. http://media.apexlearning.com/Math/200706/06/dabba82b-dff6-4345-a192-d1e137bc3d39.gif B. http://media.apexlearning.com/Math/200706/06/e4cd55fb-4c1f-4ee1-969c-6a8349a4b073.gif C. http://media.apexlearning.com/Math/200706/06/4954b76c-66ad-4516-9871-16a8eb259100.gif D. http://media.apexlearning.com/Math/200706/06/93013458-9f7b-4749-867a-40e7fa3e6472.gif Help please?

Input x=10 into each equation. Which one gives you a value closer to 6

Ya I like his idea :) Just plug in some values, see which ones gets you close to the graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i plug them in?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

\[\large\rm A.~~ f(10)=4e^{-0.5\cdot10}\approx0.027\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

You're replacing x with some value, let's say x=10, and using your calculator to calculate. Does A seem correct to you? Does it look like the function passes through the point (10, 0.027) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is A?
