OpenStudy (eboogie4):

What is the diameter of a circle with a circumference of 18.84956? A.2 units B. 3 units C. 6 units D. 9 units

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Circumference = π × diameter Therefore Diameter = circumference/π

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

the diameter is 20 so 3.14 x 20?

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

What nxt?

OpenStudy (kamibug):

How did you get that diameter?

OpenStudy (kamibug):

That's weird, are you sure that link goes with that question? :P Because the question asks for the diameter and the link already tells you what it is XD

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

Yeah that's what they gave me :o

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

https://learn.education2020.com/player/ This is the actual problem on the website

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Oh hold on, you can change the radius using the draggy thingy at the top. So click on "Show circumference info" and move the radius line until you see the circumference is at about 18.849... Then click "show diameter info" and there you'll see what it is :)

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

It wont go up that high :(

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Put the radius at about 3.0

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

ok I did

OpenStudy (kamibug):

See under circumference info how it says it's "18.8496" ?

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

yeah I do

OpenStudy (kamibug):

Now look under "show diameter" and it'll tell you what it is there :)

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

thx

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

Wait 3 or 6

OpenStudy (eboogie4):

Oh never min
