MsBrains (ms-brains):

Which relationship shows a quadratic variation

MsBrains (ms-brains):

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Idk if I can help you on this one :(

MsBrains (ms-brains):

:( Awe man.

OpenStudy (kayders1997):

Sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A or C I guess

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I got no clue on how to solve this..so anyone wanna explain?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

First of all, Ms-Brains, please explain in your own words what "quadratic variation" means. We must agree on such an explanation before any problem solving effort begins.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Perhaps you remember what "direct variation" means. If so, explain that in your own words. Then move on to explaining "quadratic variation" similarly.

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Quadratic variation is is a relationship where two items, f(x), and x have a exponential relationship...

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Despite similarities, "exponential variation" and "quadratic variation" are decidedly different.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Here's an example of "exponential variation:"\[y=ae^x\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

This does not represent "quadratic variation," or, if it does, it's rare that you see the name "exponential variation" applied. Mind trying again? Where have you seen the adjective "quadratic" before, and what does it signify?

MsBrains (ms-brains):

I actually have to go right, but I'll be back later to finish this. I'm super sorry! I've soccer practice in 5 mins. Thanks so much for helping this much!
