OpenStudy (anonymous):

w=2pi/t <--- is this frequency or displacement? I googled it and wiki said it was "angular frequency" but generally, how is this referred to?

OpenStudy (baconboy73):

\[\omega \] or "omega," is frequency. Regular frequency refers to how often something cycles per second. The only difference with omega is that it tells you how many radians per second something is oscillating. Omega is how much angle it changes by per second. Does that help or was that too complicated?
