This is the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure which, but wouldn't it be either C or D?

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Cosecant is the inverse of cosine I think you would find the cosine of A. and then flip it.

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

@TylerMckinney16

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

so I think whatever the cosine is for angle A you would flip that to get cosecant

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

so the answer is A?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

@greatlife44

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

@tylermckinney16

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

So the answer would be D?

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

yes, but do you know why?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

No

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Why?

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

I found the cosine of angle A

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

\[Cosine = \frac{ adjacent }{ hypothenuse}\]

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

@TylerMckinney16

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

ok cool

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

hey try this problem

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

|dw:1456380034919:dw|

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Can you find the Cosine of C

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

I will but is the answer to my question i asked answer D?

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Cosecant Function: csc(θ) = Hypotenuse / Opposite (=1/sin)

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

\[Sine = \frac{ opposite }{ hypothenuse } ; Cosecant = \frac{ hypothenuse }{ opposite }\]
