@jonasjl HELP!!
@4everaddicted2anime
oh hi your already here
Do you know this stuff?
Yes. First we need to convert the equation into slope intercept form
Okay. How do i do slope intercept form
Here is the equation 2x-3y=6 First we need to get the y term to one side. To do this I'll add 3y to each side to get 2x=6+3y Now we have to get the y term by itself, so I'll subtract 6 from each side to get 2x-6=3y Now we have to get y alone(with no coeficient), so I'll divide everything by 3 to get\[y=\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }-2\]
okay
y=-2/3-2
Nevermind the last post that I deleted, it was wrong.
The slope of this perpendicular line will be the reciprical and opposite charge of the equation above
Using this new slope, we need to plug in the given coordinate to find the b value/y intercept
sorry i had to switch computers
It's okay
What is the reciprical and opposite of the slope of 2/3?
Opposite as in the charge(positive and negative)
whats a reciprical
A reciprocal is a fraction fipped. Ex. The reciprocal of 3/5 is 5/3
Knowing this, what is the reciprocal of 2/3?
