I did this question about 5 days ago, I remember doing this.
pi=3.14
radius squared is 23x23=529
3.14 x 529 = 1661.06
A=1661.06
1661.1

I think there is another one after that asking for the circumference. If your in Connexus, that is for sure.
It should be a question like this:
Find the circumference of the circle (use 3.14 for pi.) Show your work. Round to the nearest tenth.
