Medal and fan please help ! show work 6. The sun’s mass is 1.998 x 1030 kg. Saturn’s mass is 5.69 x 1026 kg. How many times as great as the mass of Saturn is the mass of the sun?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Divide the bigger number by the smaller number.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Sam has 10 apples, John has 30 apples. ` :: ` Wouldn't John have 3 times as many apples as Sam?

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

I would have 0 apples because they are healthy But I agree with Solomon's thinking

OpenStudy (casadie1004):

ooppsss 10^30 and 10 ^26 They are soupposed to be exponets

OpenStudy (casadie1004):

supposed**

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

It's almost the same thing Let's split up these numbers Let's put 5.69 and 1.998 in one section and \[10^{26}\] and \[10^{30}\] in another

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Now like the apple example: If John had 30 and Sam had 10 and John had 3 times are many.. how would you calculate that?
