HELP!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wish i could give something besides medals lol

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

Turn the equation into slope intercept form. the equation is 2x+3y=6 subtract 2x from both sides to get 3y=-2x+6 divide both sides by 3 to get \[y=-\frac{ 2 }{ 3 }x+2\]

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

Since the line needed is parallel it will have the same slope

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you need to rearrange 2x + 3y = 6 to the form y = mx + b (slope interceot form)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6=2x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kay so what answer choice is right then @4everaddicted2anime

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

That's your answer

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

It is the one with the slope of -2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

yw

OpenStudy (isaidavila):

Rearrange the equation and you get the new slope of the line you want. M=-2/3 So the new equation is y-3=-2/3(x+2) Y=-2/3x+5/3
