OpenStudy (neycuurose1):

Well I'll take some choices out for you; The poem's (line 23) says "Bidding adieu; and aching Pleasure nigh," aching pleasure cannot be Alliteration. though the line contains 3 a's, that does not count for alliteration. Alliteration is "Sally sees the seashore" etc. It also couldn't be A either. A simile contains 'like' or 'as' and also animates inanimate objects. "Aching pleasure" is not a physical object, it is an emotion. So this leaves you with Oxymoron and an Allusion. Which of those two do you think is the best recommended answer?
