@jim_thompson5910
what did you get so far?
1.False
why is 1 false?
because 43/67?
not sure why you're calculating it like that
look at the `0-30 miles` column and `very/somewhat dangerous` row and you'll find 43%
yes but shouldn't the not 100 total(the 67) be considered?
1 is true because the answer is indeed 43% percentage of people who drive 0-30 miles AND feel it's dangerous = 43%
then 2 is false
yes because it should be 65%
idk I'm not sure this seems to easy to be Interpret Relative Frequencies
@satellite73
@kropot72 can you help?
C. Perhaps it will help your thinking if you reduce the number of of people in the poll to 100. In that case, the total number who opted for 'very/somewhat dangerous' would be 65 people and 22 out of the 65 people drive 31 or more miles daily. Do 22 people represent 35% of 65 people?
is 33.84
Yes, that is the percentage. Therefore the statement is .......
true since it is very close?
IMHO it is definitely not close enough.
what IMHO mean and then false?
and btw where the first 2 correct?
IMHO = In my humble opinion. Yes, the first two statement are correct.
alright thank you :) and then the last one would be true?
D. Consider that the total number of people who drive 0 - 30 miles is 67 people. Then 24 people out of the 67 people believe that self-driving cars are very/somewhat safe. What percentage is 24 of 67 people?
36 sooo false again
Yes, false again!
thank you very much for your help
You/re welcome :)
