Has anyone read "The Jury of Her Peers"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (babyx3boo):

could u help with a question, I don't really understand the epitaph itself @Zelda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the question?

OpenStudy (babyx3boo):

Use the sheriff's words and attitude as presented in this line from "A Jury of Her Peers" to explain why the men could not find any incriminating evidence in Mrs. Wright's home. "'Nothing here but kitchen things,' he said, with a little laugh for the insignificance of kitchen things."

OpenStudy (babyx3boo):

@Zelda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, kitchen things could include boiling water, knifes, fire, etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically saying that nothing out of the ordinary was in her kitchen, i.e nothing suspicious, just things that belong in a kitchen.

OpenStudy (babyx3boo):

Thank you guys @wio @Zelda
