Medal and Fan. Discuss the significance that segregation, voting rights, and education had on African American life in the South during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Easy, check out the list of amendments and the dates that they were passed that will give you an idea on what the voting rights were and an idea on the segregation.

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Then there is Rosa Parks and her significance in the civil rights movement. Obviously Dr. King

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Oh! And you can not forget to search things up on the selma march

My answer- We know that segregation is blacks and whites being separated in the 19th - 20th century. As the 1900s the Jim Crow Laws were made that was like the early Black Codes that southern states had tried to enact after the Civil Rights. It was made in order to create a second-class, separate, and inferior position for African Americans. As there was a second-class position, African American men did not have a voice in the political process which they were disfranchise. They did had rights to vote and take part in politics but sometimes they were threat or hurt in order for them to make sure that they would vote for Democrats. African American had a strong interest in education during the 19th - 20th century. There were public schools and colleges that were segregated from white and blacks like the other transportation or public places.

I know the answer I just want someone to check if it makes sense.

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

just in case you're not familiar with this subject, then definitely use the civil rights movement as a golden keyword. Another person is Viola Gregg Liuzzo. First white women to die for the cause

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Oh, well in that case it makes sense but I would add maybe more details like names, dates, and places.

This has a specific page without Martin Luther King or Rosa Parks. We are on a page. We can only use the information we have based on the pages given.

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Mmm okay...lets see then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But do you think it makes sense?

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Yes, It definitely does make sense! Good Job! ☺

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tnx. So about your question did you research it?

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):

Yeah, I think I got it a little bit more...ugh...

OpenStudy (melroseneedshelp):
