OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no idea how to read this graph? Please help me!

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The temperature is on the x axis. Pressure is on the y axis.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

So estimate where temp is 0 and pressure is 72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok.... one sec plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its liquid right?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about for part b?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

What happens when y decreases...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it vaporizes right?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yah thanks, can you help me with one more plz?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

If it's quick like this one, yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok cool thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I think work done = pressure times change in volume

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

But you'll have to make sure to use the correct units...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me any further with this problem plz?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I gave you the formula, just make sure to put everything in proper units. Litres for volume and pascals for pressure, I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks!
