RhondaSommer (rhondasommer):

Which of the following best describes the difference between a scientific hypothesis and a scientific theory? Once a scientific hypothesis has been proven, it becomes known as a theory. A scientific hypothesis must be testable, while a theory does not have to be tested. A scientific hypothesis is a testable assumption, while a theory is a well-verified idea used to explain a broad range of phenomena. Only a scientific hypothesis is subject to scrutiny, while a theory does not change. @MissSmartiez

Once a scientific hypothesis has been proven, it becomes known as a theory. or A scientific hypothesis is a testable assumption, while a theory is a well-verified idea used to explain a broad range of phenomena. Most likely C, a hypothesis can be a theory once proven, but I think it needs more establishment before just automatically saying,'its a theory',

Though, A does seem accurate, since that is the process, it might just me the summary of the process, which can make it right. I had someone ask me this long ago, lol!
