@AloneS @zepdrix @KJSaif @mathmale

OpenStudy (mathmusician):

Hey

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey , can you help ?

OpenStudy (mathmusician):

Circumference = 2*pi*r

OpenStudy (mathmusician):

all you have to do is plug and chug

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd be more likely to help next time if you (Okay) would post just one or two problems at a time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i dont understand it @MathMusician

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@welshfella

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone please help ?

@greatlife44

@Adrianna.Gongora

OpenStudy (mathmale):

What do you want to know at this point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last three questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i posted all the pics

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Pick one, please. I asked before that you post no more than 1 or 2 questions at a time. What do you need to know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#20 Find the circumference of the circle (use3.14 for pi) show your work. Round to the nearest tenth

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Choose one of the questions and then ask about anything not clear to you in that one question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know what to multiply pi by

OpenStudy (mathmale):

OK: What is the formula for the circumference of a circle of radius r?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm??? idk i said i was really confused ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

23 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

23*pi ??

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

What do you want me to help you with?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

okay101: to understand these problems, you need to know the formulas for the geometric shapes given. A circle is a circle. What does "circumference of a circle" mean? If you don't know, just Google "circumference of a circle."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the three questions 20 21 +22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Adrianna.Gongora ^^

OpenStudy (mathmale):

"Find the circumference of a circle with radius 23 yards." First, what is the formula for the circumference of a circle? If you 're not sure, look up "circumference of a circle" on Google.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C=2πr

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Yes. "MathMusician Best Response Medals 0 Circumference = 2*pi*r" gave you that info some time ago. Please make a list of basic geometric formulas such as this one for easy reference. If C=2pi r, and r=23 yards, what is the circumference of the circle in question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the answer 144.51 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for number 20 ?

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

#21 is A = (1/2)bh + (1/2)(pi)r^2 A = (1/2)(3.6)(4.8) + (1/2)(3.14)(3.6/2)^2 A = 8.64 + 5.09 = 13.73 Round off to nearest tenth: A = 13.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks for #20

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please show your work; otherwise I have to do the problem myself to compare our answers. C=2pi r C = 2 pi ( ) insert the circle radius here, please, including units.

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

#22 A will be (1,1) B will be (3,-2) C will be (4,1) and D will be (3,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for #22 @Adrianna.Gongora

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Adrianna: Appreciate your wanting to help, but it's your job to guide the other person towards finding his or her own solutions. Do NOT solve problems for them. Code of Conduct, remember?

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

okay.

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

am not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are we still working on #20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmale

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

Thanks a lot @okay101 because you lied he issued me a warning they can kick me off this site if they wanted to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Calm down , i never lied i deleted the message and apologized, tell him to take that away ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and they won't , there are so many others like that, they are blind as f*uck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Adrianna.Gongora

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

I never messaged you the answers that's why he gave me warning because he thinks I messaged you the answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no , i meant that you were explaining them through messages ... he took it wrong @Adrianna.Gongora

OpenStudy (adrianna.gongora):

He thinks I told you the answer to #20 -.- I literally only helped you with 21 and 22. I guess you made a comment "okay thanks for #20 " and he thought you were talking to me.
