Doge, the question is asking about you citing passages that prove bicycling helps her leave loneliness. Can you give us an example? I never read this, so I can't give you a passage lol
Just give me a passage you might think answers the question.
Heres the poem, i think it'll help a bit. A boy told me if he roller-skated fast enough his loneliness couldn’t catch up to him, the best reason I ever heard for trying to be a champion. What I wonder tonight pedaling hard down King William Street is if it translates to bicycles. A victory! To leave your loneliness panting behind you on some street corner while you float free into a cloud of sudden azaleas, pink petals that have never felt loneliness, no matter how slowly they fell. This is what i have so far: In "The Rider", Naomi Shihab Nye describes loneliness as a figure who chases her whilst she tried to get away from this figure. Going fast enough, she left this figure panting at the corner of the sidewalk, unable to run anymore.
Okay. Nice poem. So you think the sentence about "panting behind you on some street corner" would work for this point?
