Algebra II question, see attachment!

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

goes down 10, put that number aside

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it goes up \[10\times \frac{4}{5}\] and down \[10\times \frac{4}{5}\] for a total of \[20\times \frac{4}{5}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

next one will be \[20\times \left(\frac{4}{5}\right)^2\] and so on

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

wait i'm confused, i did 20 * (4/5)^2 and got 12.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@CloverRacer You have to do it again. 12.8 * (4/5)^2 and so on.. total of 5 bounces

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think...

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

i'm not getting a correct answer

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

like the fifth bounce isn't any of the options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then do to the fourth bounce?hm..

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

still doesn't work

OpenStudy (cloverracer):

i got it, it was \[57 (29/125)\]
