hemisphere is half of a sphere. volume of hemisphere=\(\Large{\frac{2}{3} \pi r^3}\) surface area of hemisphere=\(\Large{2\pi r^2}\)

PEMDAS comes from arithmetic and applies everywhere there are numbers :-)

The question asks for (1/2)•V Can you use the given formula and the given radius?
I already chose a random answer that I felt was right (even if it's wrong)...
Multiply both sides of the formula by 1/2 and substitute the given radius in for r.

Not really... I just kinda chose the 3888= V and 972=S for the answer.
