@DIDITHEDAD

OpenStudy (peachy1):

can you help me ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well number one is easy. Do you know what all the angles of a triangle add up to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Peachy1

OpenStudy (peachy1):

i think it is 45 for the 1 one @DIDITHEDAD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First off, tell me what all the angles of a triangle add up to.

OpenStudy (peachy1):

i dont know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, all teh angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. In this problem, we have a 90 degree angle (90 degree angle is there because it is a RIGHT triangle) and a 45 degree angle. The answer is 180 - 90 - 45. What do you get?

OpenStudy (peachy1):

i understand that just im new at this and idk how to sovle them'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, this question you don't really have to solve. I was just showing you something that could be of use in the future. This is more of a question that is testing your memory. A right isosceles triangle WILL ALWAYS HAVE a 90 degree angle, and two 45 degree angles. ALWAYS. And because 45 + 45 + 90 = 180, this works.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, now for number 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many angles are in a TRIangle? (notice the tri)

OpenStudy (peachy1):

3

OpenStudy (peachy1):

|dw:1457629607004:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup! And since the problem states that all the angles are the same, x will be added three times to get 180. It gets 180 because, as I said before, all triangles have 180 degrees of angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer is x + x + x = 180 If you wanted to solve this, add the x's together.... 3x = 180 then divide x = 180/3 x = 60

OpenStudy (peachy1):

d

CORRECT!
