-> The molar mass of something is the mass of one mole of that molecule or atom. -> Molar mass of something can be read directly from a periodic table. For questions 7-8, look here: http://sciencenotes.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/PeriodicTableMuted.png *remember the molar mass is not the same as the atomic number. The molar mass of carbon is NOT 6. -> For question 9: If the molar mass of XXX is 20.2 g/mole, than in 10 moles, the mass would be 10*20.2 = 202 grams. For this question, you need to know the molar mass of carbon (look at the periodic table!) and multiple that by 23., -> For question 10: if you have 100 grams of something with a molar mass of 20 g/mole.... take 100 g / (20 g/mole) = 5 moles.
