Select all that apply. What is the difference between DNA and RNA? DNA is a protein and RNA is a nucleic acid. DNA uses deoxyribose and RNA uses ribose. DNA has adenine and RNA has thymine. DNA has thymine and RNA has uracil.
DNA have thymine and RNA have uracil.
WRONG^ Its the second one
@danieL2fresh you are both correct. You had to select all that apply. Those two things are the differences.
Both are nucleic acids but DNA has deoxyribose, while RNA has ribose as sugar component. Both have same Nitrogenous bases, except, in RNA Thymine is replaced by Uracil. DNA is double stranded while RNA is mostly single stranded. DNA carries genetic information from individuals to their offspring while RNA doesn't. RNA instead copies information from DNA and use this information to build proteins and enzymes needed in the cell.
