I have this system of equations https://www.dropbox.com/s/g1fr0j86wve3if8/Screenshot%202016-03-12%2017.32.12.png?dl=0 can someone tell me what does that mean geometrically ?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Sorry, but I cannot access Dropbox. You have your math problem posted in your personal account, which i do not have (and do not want). Please find some other way in which to share this problem with us. For example, take and share a screen shot, or draw the problem in the Draw utility, below, or describe the problem in words.

Is this it

There are several ways you can look at this geometrically, so it really depends on what you mean.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

These are "parametric equations." They trace out a surface in space; any point on that surface is described by (x, y, z), where x, y and z are all functions of the "parameter," lambda. You could get a cross section of this surface by letting any of the 3 variables x, y and z equal zero and then plot the points defined by the other two variables. For example, you could ignore z (the third dimension, usually vertical) and plot (x,y, 0) as parameter lambda varies.
