The statement "two points determine a line" is an example of a __________. theorem definition postulate proof

OpenStudy (ciarán95):

The question's actually a little bit confusing - it depends what you mean by the word 'larger'. With the number line, we usually say that 3 is bigger than 2 because it is further away from 0....it is 'more positive'. So, if the number line starts at 0 and goes 0,1,2,3,.... and so on, then they get smaller as you travel left. However, if it also contains negative numbers (i.e. .....-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ....), some people would argue that they start to get larger again once you travel past zero and into the negative numbers. You could say that -3 is smaller than -2, but you could also say that -3 is 'more negative' than -2 and is therefore larger. What's your thoughts @rheclife304 ? What kind of number line are you dealing with?
