Apply what you learned in your last post, please. In that post, I asked you to add 2/7 to both sides of the given equation. Why was that? Now I ask you to determine what number, positive or negative, you need to add to the left and right sides of this new equation. Why that number?

"So you would add 1/4 + 1/3 ?" No. You want to remove that 1/3 from the left side, so subtract 1/3 from both sides. Show your work, please.
