A home has a triangular backyard. The second angle of the triangle is 7 degrees more than the first angle. The third angle is 8 degrees more than three times the first angle. Find the angles of the triangular backyard

got pic?

OpenStudy (pphalke):

what?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm I see

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

alrite so.. the backyard is triangular let's say angles a,b and c so angle "a" is the first one "second angle of the triangle is 7 degrees more than the first angle" meaning, b is 7 more than "a", or \(\bf b = a+7\) " third angle is 8 degrees more than three times the first angle" meaning, "c" is 8 more than "a", or a + 8, BUT is really 8 more than 3 times "a" so \(\bf c = 3a+8\) |dw:1457831916498:dw|

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

recall, that the sum of all internal angles in a triangle, are \(\bf 180^o\)
