OpenStudy (james1107):

what do u think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A or C ?

OpenStudy (james1107):

i think i would go wit c myself

OpenStudy (james1107):

hold on let me check my answer

OpenStudy (james1107):

i would still say c

OpenStudy (james1107):

but i dont know this one?

OpenStudy (mythorius):

It can't be C because Soviet Union did show that they had the tech to launch a rocket. So they weren't far behind the U.S. Sputnik was launched in 1957, the Jupiter C, America's first rocket, was launched a year and 8 months later

OpenStudy (mythorius):

Wait, i said that wrong, sputnik was launched a year after, not the Jupiter C

OpenStudy (wwhitlock):

It scared the heck outta the American people. Seeing that thing fly over made everybody think that adding a weapon to it would not be far behind.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would go with A. The Soviet Union used Sputnik to make the US fear them, knowing that if they could launch a satellite, why couldn't they launch a missile too? does that help @juliamae10
