"Graph the image for the rotation"

OpenStudy (loser66):

Don't do that, just apply the rule : 90 degree counterclockwise send (x,y) to (-y,x) so, you just label the coordinate of the points, like this R(-1,-1), so x =-1, y =-1, now, it will turn to R'(-y,x) from R, y =-1, hence -y =1, x just stay, hence R'(1,-1), now, you point it out do the same with Q, Z, E link them all I do R and Q for you R (-1,-1)--> R'(1,-1) Q(3,-2) ---> Q'(2,3)

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

I'm using https://app.geogebra.org/#geometry

OpenStudy (loser66):

You look at Q, Q', if Q' is on the y axis, then Q must be on the x axis so that they make a 90 degree , right? but your graph is not.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Wait, please.

OpenStudy (loser66):

OpenStudy (loser66):

Take a look at this and try to figure out how it works.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Alright

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

I think I understand.

OpenStudy (loser66):

Good

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

I'll upload the finished result.
