We start right away with 10. Then the bouncing starts 5+5, 2.5+2.5, 1.25 + 1.25, .625+.625, for four bounces, the fifth bounce has no distance as we end with the bounce. So we add 10+10+5+2.5+1.25 = 28.75 m ANS.
