OpenStudy (yinshy):

multiply all the sides and then add them all up to get your awnser

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried that at @Yinshy but it is not the same for lateral surface area

OpenStudy (aveline):

First, find the areas of both of the triangles, then multiply by two because there are two of each triangle. Then add the area of the rectangle in the middle. Do you know how to find the area of a triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (yinshy):

oops thought that was some thing different sorry im better at ela

OpenStudy (yinshy):

ok well good luck have a good day

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Aveline i tried that but it is different for lateral surface area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @Yinshy

OpenStudy (aveline):

So do (6.95ft)(3ft)(6.18ft)(7ft)=total lateral surface area (in ft^2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @Aveline
