I feel like you're just restating what it says....
what are you suppose to do here?
u have to read statement I and II then read conclusions from I to IV and decide which conclusion(s) are correct and select one option from options a to e
I don't see how you'd get any of these questions right or wrong, so maybe ask if they're right or wrong questions...
u have to take the 2 statements to be true even if they are at variance with commonly known facts
*i mean 3 statements
my opinion that c. is right sure but you need accept it without my explication - try get it alone
i think option b.) is correct but in book option e.) is given correct
@mathmath333 i too feel b) is correct :/
since we are at odds with your text book answer, the question remains unsolved :P
how ??
have u read this "u have to take the 3 statements to be true even if they are at variance with commonly known facts"
car is a subset of vehicle in the day to day life but it is not necesarrily true here
read statement C ------some machines are mechanics <->some mechanics are machines
U tired :(

yes, i'm thinking option (b) conclusion I and II follow but your text book says option(e) is correct
I'm thinking: A cat is an animal Then an animal is a cat. You can't use that logic as it is faulty, and so none of the conclusions are correct.
If "some" cats are animals Then "some" animals are cats
True, but then again, all cats are animals. This question is a little more tricky than the other.
@hartnn Would you know how to attempt this question?
I would agree with math, baru that the best answer choice is (b). Afterall, all those are sets, and with non-0 intersection.
