OpenStudy (darkbeautystar):

Identify where a comma should be placed by choosing the word after which the comma should be placed. If there is no error, mark the answer for "No error." Elizabeth is looking forward to the summer camp yet it means she will need to be away from her family for two weeks. Elizabeth camp away No error

OpenStudy (aveline):

To make this easier, try dividing the compound sentence into two. Elizabeth is looking forward to the summer camp (yet) It means she will need to be away from her family for two weeks. Where do you believe the comma goes?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

As Aveline was saying, you basically have a compound sentence. A.compound sentence consists of 2 independent clauses. These independent clauses are separated by either a colon, or a comma plus a conjunction. There is a conjunction in the sentence ( yet)...and the comma should be placed before the conjunction.

OpenStudy (mariahboyers):

it's after camp.
