Have you chosen any answer that you would think are correct?

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

ima guess B.

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Direct variation is on how x gets to y or we would use the formula \(\Huge{y=kx}\) where k is what we multiply by to get y.... So lets start with a....we have the coordinates \(\LARGE{(1,0.6)}\) So x would be 1 and y would be 0.6.... \(\Huge{0.6=k(1)}\) So to solve for k we would divide 0.6 by 1... \(\Huge{\frac{0.6}{1}=0.6=k}\) So k would be 0.6..... So we apply k to the next set of points....\(\LARGE{(4,2.4)}\) \(\Huge{2.4=0.6(4)}\) Does 0.6 by 4 equal 2.4?

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

e.e ummm im having a hard time understanding that. But my answers are either A. or D.

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Actually it is A and D ^^

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):
