OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Which equation is shown on the graph? A. B. C. D.

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

@563blackghost

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

B. or C. is my guess :3

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

Yea e.e its the screenshot

563blackghost (563blackghost):

This would apply with what I was trying to explain before :P Well we would first point out a point on the graph....so choose one point...

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

(9,25)

OpenStudy (fire.hot_is_me):

C....it's C

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Well that is not eniterly accurate lets use (5,15) ^^ So 5 would be x and 15 would be y...So we would input this into the direct variation equation... \(\Huge{y=kx \rightarrow 15 = k(5)}\) So we would divide 15 by 5 to find k.... \(\Huge{\frac{15}{5}=k}\) what would k be?

OpenStudy (fire.hot_is_me):

3?

OpenStudy (mrhirohito):

k = 3

563blackghost (563blackghost):

That is correct so our equation would be.... \(\Huge{y=3x}\)

OpenStudy (fire.hot_is_me):

I was right :D

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Yes you were @Fire.Hot_Is_Me but us openstudiers are not allowed to give direct answers...it is against the code of conduct

OpenStudy (fire.hot_is_me):

oh......

OpenStudy (fire.hot_is_me):

i will remember that from now on @563blackghost
