Can you help me simplify this problem? Thanks in advance! x^2+x-6/x+3
\[\frac{ x ^{2}*x }{ x }+\frac{ x*x }{ x }-\frac{ 6 }{ x }+ \frac{ 3*x }{ x }\] making all denominators equal
do u understand it
Yes I do! Thanks!

With this, I like to just divide like regular numbers, it's easier for me this way.
When I look at x+3 and lets say, the beginning terms of "x^2+x" I want to be able to cancel out as many terms as possible. To get an "x^2" I must multiply x+3 by x. so..

so now, I just need to simplify. (NOTE : that x above 3x is the same as 1x!)

Lets use the same principle from before to keep chugging.

the answer should be x-2.
we can check by using the FOIL method.
(x+3)(x-2) F:(x)(x) O: (x)(-2) I: (3)(x) L: (+3)(-2) x^2+x-6. Boom! There it is. Hope my explanation helped!
@Maddy1251 Thank you so much I will definitely use this for future reference! :)
