Do you know what a y-intercept is? Just wanting to make sure. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where a line passes through the y-axis of the graph. @Maddy1251

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

@lostintime Okay, perfect, just wanted to be sure. Out of all of these choices, i would have to agree, although it can be considered both x-intercept and y-intercept. If the other two graphs NEVER cross the y-axis, then yes, your answer where it crosses the origin is correct, because none of the others ever show a crossing.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Even though in my opinion, it's a poor representation of a y-intercept.

Awesome! Thank you for the explanation as well. :] I totally agree with you there... xD but hey its what I had to graph. Thank you so much, have a great day.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Not a problem. You are dealing with logs, I see. Have fun with those in Calc. :p It's true. Sometimes math makes you scratch your head. Have a nice day, too. :)
