Which sentence is correctly punctuated? A. Say, John, may I stop over tomorrow morning to see you? B. Say, John may I stop over tomorrow morning to see you? C. Say John may I stop over tomorrow morning to see you? D. Say John, may I stop over tomorrow morning to see you?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Which one seems correct to you? @Yinshy

OpenStudy (king.void.):

-.- What do you think?

OpenStudy (yinshy):

D or A

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Why do you think D? Why do you think A?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Can you give me a reason for choosing D and A as an answer?

OpenStudy (king.void.):

I don't think it needs a comma like this: Say, John...

OpenStudy (yinshy):

it looks right

OpenStudy (king.void.):

Typo: Say, John, <--- I don't think that comma needs to be there.. What do you think? @KendrickLamar2014

OpenStudy (yinshy):

now i think D only

OpenStudy (king.void.):

Oh then, you're correct :)

OpenStudy (yinshy):

ty

OpenStudy (king.void.):

:)

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

D is correct to me. When I have these problems. I say it out loud and make a short pause where a comma is. You can see which one is correct or not by doing that. @Yinshy

OpenStudy (yinshy):
