This question is a little tricky for me http://assets.openstudy.com/updates/attachments/56f9e02de4b07a8c8229d054-clamin-1459216436591-screenshot37.png

OpenStudy (fairy733189):

factors are numbers you multiply in order to get another number so in this equation there are 0. The answer would be c.

OpenStudy (reemii):

in \(a\times b\) there are 2 factors. here's a similar situation. (\(b=(q-1)^r\) .. one might argue there are \(r\) hidden factors hidden there but \(r+1\) is not in the options). I would say 2.

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

Given an expression, the factors of an expression are other expressions which divide the expression "nicely". Here, p and (q-1) divide the expression "nicely". I agree with reemii on all of his comments.
