http://prntscr.com/alul3q Help with trig question?
@Ghostgate @Directrix
Okay if I recall correctly, you will need to find the height of the pyramid using the Pythagorean theorem. So... in order to do this, you need to half the base value, which is 82. You should be able to instantly figure out that 41 is half of 82, so... use the theorem: 41^2 + x^2 = 52^2 Doing this, you should come to your answer. I hope this helps, if you have any questions, ask! ;) {---Ghostgate---}
@Ghostgate We are supposed to use cosine, tangent, or sin for this : )
Oh... I'm sorry, I'm not good with those. :/
Hm, have any idea? If I gave you the formulas do you think you'd be able to help? @ghostgate
Maybe... I'm also trying to play a game as well. Lol
Alright, will you give me fifteen minutes? @ghostgate
Fifteen minutes for you to give me the formulas or just fifteen minutes for me to solely help you?
Don't they go hand in hand haha? I mean if you don't mind I'll be back in fifteen minutes because helping mom. @ghostgate
Well, you'll have to wait between responses since I'll be busy playing my game. Haha, however I will try to help you. ;)
http://www.mathwarehouse.com/trigonometry/sine-cosine-tangent.php I'm on my phone so I can't directly screenshot and paste link, but I pulled it up on a site to get the trig formulas for tangent, cosine, and sin. So, you can try to figure that out while I'm gone haha. @ghostgate
You can work out this question by using the following diagram: |dw:1459315341039:dw| So you can simply use the tangent rule to solve your problem and find the height :)
