C and D are out right?
You might try pronouncing each of the answer choices. Which sounds best to you? Perhaps you could eliminate one or more the answer choices by doing this.
Reasons for saying that?
They need a comma after temps.
What's behind (what's the reason for) your saying that?
does it need a comma after very?
what?
If you're talking about three or more things, then you'll need a comma between all but the last two such things.
LOOK,I HONESTLY THINK IT'S THE 2ND ONE AM I CORRECT? :<
Why the caps? They are trying to help you :)
Im not sure it was just a guess, and @InstagramModel i put caps by accedent ik theere trying to help me
Tom, Bruce and Harry. One, two, three and four See any pattern here? Why a comma after "temps?"
the 3rd one makes more sense to me
Why?
Commas are only required when someone is listing more than 2 things. With "and" there's no need for comma.
So no comma after temperature?
I keep asking you all these questions because I'd like for you to know and understand when to apply the rules.
No comma after and
so and works as a comma
Does this sound right?"Cold temperatures, and wet conditions made the cleanup very, difficult."
Why are you applying a comma after temperature?
Me, and my sister --- Does this sound logical?
It sounds better like that...But if it's wrong o put that after temperature sorry
Comma is just a list separator. So whenever there is a list only then use it. Apples, banana and mangoes Correct Apples and mangoes Correct Apples, and mangoes Wrong
I think it's the fourth one now....
What is the rule here? The whole point is to understand and apply the rule correctly. Please refer to this comment by FaiqRaees, Human Calculator: Commas are only required when someone is listing more than 2 things. With "and" there's no need for comma.
Very nice. Now can you justify your choice of D?
Because someone told me it makes most since and because i realized i dont need a comma after temp.
Please use the rule cited by Faiq to eliminate the incorrect responses.
Okay so there is no need for comma after temperature. Correct point But what about after very? Do we need the comma? Why or why not?
no because there shouldin't be a pause right there in between
Your argument does make a little sense but the valid reason is because there is no list.
no...very is just an adverb...u need no commas in this sentence
the same thing for conditions made it cuts it in half
Very and difficult doesn't constitute to a collectible entity. So they are not a list
so is D right bcause i really need to know
SO the answer is D. I hope you understood
