@satellite73 @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=6 y=3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know that i solved it by using elimination

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i dont know how to solve it by using substitution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk

rishavraj (rishavraj):

Substitution method includes ...... see u need to get the value of one variable in terms of the other one from one of the given equations....and then plug tht value in the other equation

Hi. :) Maybe try using Cymath.com or Wolframalpha.com and they will help you get the answer you are looking for. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @Ms-Brains

MsBrains (ms-brains):

No problem! :) Glad I could help.

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

All you have to do to solve by substitution is isolate one of the variables and then plug it in.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to solve by substituition. i only know how to substitute if there was just a x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like if the problem was 20x+y=240,00 10x+80y=300,00

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i could solve that

OpenStudy (simplymarie_x):

I'm having internet issues, I apologize. I'm going to draw it out so it's easier to explain.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you
